The Akuvox R20A Flush Rain Cover is a galvanized steel weather shield built for an Akuvox R20A that's been flush (in-wall) mounted, rather than surface-mounted. It fits over the recessed installation to shield the intercom from rain, sun, and general outdoor weather — extending the intercom's lifespan without giving up the clean, flush-finished look of an in-wall install.
This cover is designed to be used together with a flush-mount embedding bracket — for R20A installations, that's our Akuvox R20A Flush Mount Box. If your R20A is already surface-mounted, this is not the right cover for your setup — see our Choosing the Right Accessory section below. Supplied directly through Total Security Equipment (intercom and flush mount box sold separately).
