- Description
Product Overview
The Cudy GS1028PS2 is a 26-port Gigabit switch built to power and connect a large-scale PoE camera or access-control deployment. Twenty-four of its ports supply PoE/PoE+ power directly over the same cable that carries data, while 2 Gigabit SFP slots give you a fibre uplink option back to your core network or NVR.
With a 300W total PoE budget shared across the 24 PoE ports, CCTV-oriented long-range power/data mode, and VLAN isolation between PoE ports, it is built with larger camera installations in mind. Housed in a 19-inch rackmount metal case. Supplied through Total Security Equipment.
Key Capabilities
24 PoE+ Ports, 300W Total
Ports 1–24 supply IEEE 802.3af/at PoE power, up to 30W per port and 300W shared across all twenty-four.
2 Gigabit SFP Slots
Dedicated fibre uplink slots for connecting back to your core network or NVR over longer distances.
CCTV Long-Range Mode
A CCTV-oriented mode supports extended power and data transmission for longer camera cable runs.
19-Inch Rackmount
Metal rackmount case with internal power supply, brackets included.
Best For
Large-Scale CCTV Deployments
Powers up to 24 IP cameras directly, with fibre uplink headroom via the SFP slots.
Rack-Based Installations
19-inch metal case fits standard equipment racks and comms cabinets.
Budget-Conscious PoE Jobs
A lower-cost 24-port PoE option compared to premium-brand equivalents.
Why Choose This Switch
Larger camera and access-control jobs need real port count and real PoE headroom. The Cudy GS1028PS2 gives you 24 PoE ports, a 300W power budget, and fibre-ready SFP uplinks in a rackmount metal case, at a competitive price point. Available from Total Security Equipment.
