- Description
Product Overview
The Cudy GS1020PS2 is an 18-port Gigabit switch built to power and connect a larger PoE camera or access-control deployment. Sixteen of its ports supply PoE/PoE+ power directly over the same cable that carries data, while 2 Gigabit SFP slots give you a fibre uplink option back to your core network or NVR.
With a 200W total PoE budget shared across the 16 PoE ports, CCTV-oriented long-range power/data mode, and VLAN isolation between PoE ports, it is built with camera installations in mind. Housed in a 19-inch rackmount metal case. Supplied through Total Security Equipment.
Key Capabilities
16 PoE+ Ports, 200W Total
Ports 1–16 supply IEEE 802.3af/at PoE power, up to 30W per port and 200W shared across all sixteen.
2 Gigabit SFP Slots
Dedicated fibre uplink slots for connecting back to your core network or NVR over longer distances.
CCTV Long-Range Mode
A CCTV-oriented mode supports extended power and data transmission for longer camera cable runs.
19-Inch Rackmount, Fanless
Metal rackmount case with internal power supply, silent fanless operation.
Best For
Larger CCTV Deployments
Powers up to 16 IP cameras directly, with fibre uplink headroom via the SFP slots.
Rack-Based Installations
19-inch metal case fits standard equipment racks and comms cabinets.
Budget-Conscious PoE Jobs
A lower-cost 16-port PoE option compared to premium-brand equivalents.
Why Choose This Switch
Larger camera and access-control jobs need real port count and real PoE headroom. The Cudy GS1020PS2 gives you 16 PoE ports, a 200W power budget, and fibre-ready SFP uplinks in a rackmount metal case, at a competitive price point. Available from Total Security Equipment.

FAQs
1. How many ports supply PoE power?
16 of the 18 ports supply PoE/PoE+ power; the remaining 2 are Gigabit SFP slots for fibre uplinks.
2. What is the total PoE power budget?
Up to 200W total across the 16 PoE ports, with up to 30W available per port.
3. Do I need SFP modules to use the fibre ports?
Yes — SFP transceiver modules aren't typically included and are matched to your specific fibre run. Ask our team if you need help selecting compatible modules.
4. Is Cudy a well-established brand?
Cudy is a newer addition to our range alongside our longer-established TP-Link and Ruijie switches. If brand history and Australian support track record matter most to you, ask our team about our TP-Link or Ruijie PoE alternatives.
