This prevents potential personal injury and damage to clothing as compared to electric strikes with a 15mm strike lip. This lock is easily interchangeable from fail-secure to fail-safe with the use of a small screwdriver.

Product Overview
The Lox ES20M is the monitored version of our ES20 electric strike, built for higher-security commercial doors where your access control system needs to know the status of the strike itself. It reports back on three points: lock status, door latch status, and anti-tamper (whether the strike has been removed or repositioned) — each as a separate dry-contact output you wire back to your access control panel. It has the same 10mm strike lip as the ES20, reducing the injury and clothing-catch risk that comes with deeper strike lips.
Built in stainless steel with no loose pins or springs, the ES20M runs on the same 10-30VDC range as the ES20, with no extra current draw for the added monitoring circuitry. It's field-selectable between fail-secure and fail-safe operation on site with a small screwdriver, just like the rest of the Lox strike range. Supplied through Total Security Equipment.
