Product Overview
The Lox EM4500 is a compact, weather-resistant electromagnetic lock (maglock) purpose-built for gates, with up to 200kg of holding force and an IP67 weather rating for reliable outdoor use. Like all electromagnetic locks, it's fail-safe by physical design — it holds only while powered and releases automatically the moment power is cut. There's no fail-secure option with this type of lock.
It's fully enclosed in 304 stainless steel and includes built-in status sensors — a lock status sensor (LSS) and a door/gate status sensor (DSS) — plus a highly visible red/green LED status light. It runs on dual voltage (12VDC or 24VDC) and mounts either front-fixed or header-fixed to suit your gate.
