The Lox EM5700 is a standard-duty electromagnetic lock (maglock) for single doors, with strong holding force of up to 580kg — suited to high-traffic commercial entries where you need serious holding strength. Like all electromagnetic locks, it's fail-safe by physical design: it holds the door shut only while powered, and releases automatically the moment power is cut. There's no fail-secure option with this type of lock.
It includes a built-in lock status sensor (LSS) and door status sensor (DSS), plus a highly visible red/green LED status light, and runs on dual voltage (12VDC or 24VDC). It's fire rated up to 4 hours and tested to 1 million operating cycles.
