Getting your Network Video Recorders (NVRs) Online

Today, TSE's qualified engineer will help you get used to each step of setting up your new network video recorders (NVRs) and make them go online.

This guide will show you how to easily set up your new Network Video Recorder (NVR) and get it connected to the internet. These steps will be helpful for anyone installing a CCTV system.

Step 1: Go to the Main Menu and select Network.
Step 2: In the top left corner, choose TCP/IP.
Step 3: Click the Edit icon (pencil symbol) on the right side.
Step 4: In the pop-up window, enable DHCP. Click OK to close the window.
Step 5: Click OK or Apply at the bottom right to save the changes.
Step 6: On the left-hand-side, select P2P, and then choose to enable the function
at the top and click Apply/Save on the bottom right. Once that’s done,
you need to do a reboot of the system and the Status should be online
and the recorder should be connected to the internet.
Once it restarts, the status should show Online, meaning your recorder is connected to the internet!
